Leila and I lived in the lower mainland of BC for awhile. This was taken in New Westminster at the Sapperton park along the Fraser river. She was such a clever girl and loved her ball. She would 'throw' it back to me.  I filmed this in Coquitlam. That tail! It brought me so much joy to walk with her. One morning we met a friendly kitty on our walk. Leila loved kitty friends and would try to play with them. Most of the time they wouldn't play back, but once in a while we'd find one that did. I accidentally caught Leila on video with the one of the last sticks she ever chewed. Her teeth were getting pretty bad. This video was taken about three months before she left us.  This is a short video of my girl looking up at me. For the longest time I thought it was a still picture. Now, I watch it when I want to see her beautiful face.  My BlackBerry used to make these fantastic compilation videos of the still shots. You'll see many of the shots in this included in the photo...

Mike, my daughter, my parents and my brother.  I started a memorial page for her on Facebook, a few days after she passed away. I am still coming to terms with the grief. Today is the two year anniversary of her passing and I've already cried a couple times. To say I miss her is a huge understatement. She was my love. But I am learning to cope without her. I'm so grateful to have my partner help me through it.  Below is a collection of the photos and videos I have of her. Looking at them is ...
